Day 1 - Terelj National Park

Meet your tour leader at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport just outside Ulaanbaatar and travel east to Terelj National Park, a mixed area of steppe, forest and dramatic rock formations. Weather permitting, mount one of Mongolia's famed horses and explore the area on horseback. Spend the night at a ger camp in Terelj. (B,L,D)

Day 2 - Genghis Khan

Before returning to Ulaanbaatar, visit the towering 131-foot tall Genghis Khan Statue, built in 2006 for the 800th anniversary of the Mongol Empire. Attend a performance of folk music, dance and throat singing by the renowned Tumen Ekh Ensemble. (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Ulaanbaatar

Explore Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s cosmopolitan capital. Encounter the country’s history at the spectacular Chinggis Khaan National Museum, newly opened in 2022. Explore an exhibit of dinosaur fossils from the Gobi Desert and visit Gandantegchenlin Monastery, the center of Mongolian Buddhism. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - International Departure

Return to the airport for your flight home. (B)
