4 Days: Cairo

Tour overview:

With a population of over 9 million spread 1,191 sq mi, Cairo is by far the largest city in Egypt. Your tour includes city sightseeing and visits to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Your day at leisure could include an optional visit to the famous Egyptian Museum.

Day 1 - Arrive Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where you will be met by a SITA local representative. Receive assistance with airport formalities and proceed with a private transfer to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner is on your own. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 - Pyramids of Giza – Grand Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, meet your Egyptologist and proceed to visit the iconic Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. Including entrance to the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum to explore its remarkable collection of ancient Egyptian treasures. Overnight in Cairo. (B, L)

Day 3 - Sakkara – Islamic Cairo

After breakfast, depart at to visit the Step Pyramid of Sakkara, followed by a visit to the ancient city of Memphis. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Citadel and Mohamed Ali Mosque. Continue to Khan El Khalili Bazaar and stroll through Muiz Islamic Street. Overnight in Cairo. (B, L)

Day 4 - Depart Cairo

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your final departure. (B)
