Egypt is a nation of epic history. Enjoy this land as the pictures you’ve seen in books come to life before your eyes.Walk down the paths of pharaohs in Cairo, stand in the shadow of gargantuan pyramids in Giza, and fly to Aswan for your cruise down the mystical Nile River.

Day 1 - Arrive Cairo

Arrive at Cairo Airport and meet our local representative for assistance through airport formalities. Transfer to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or explore on your own. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 - Pyramids of Giza – Grand Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, including the Cheops Pyramid. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (included) before visiting Grand Egyptian Museum including the full collection of King Tutankhamen treasures. Overnight in Cairo. (BL)

Day 3 - Sakkara – Islamic Cairo

After breakfast, visit the Step Pyramid of Sakkara & Memphis. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (included). In the afternoon, visit the Citadel and the Mohamed Ali Mosque, followed by a visit to the Khan El Khalili local market and Muiz Islamic Street. Overnight in Cairo. (BL)

Day 4 - Fly to Aswan – Embark on Nile Cruise

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Visit the High Dam, Philae temple, and Unfinished Obelisk before checking in aboard your Nile Cruise. Enjoy lunch on board. Enjoy a scenic Felucca ride on the Nile in the afternoon. (Timing depends on Sunset). Dinner on board. Overnight: Aswan (on cruise). (BLD)

Day 5 - Nile Cruise – Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu

Early morning sail to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. Continue sailing to Edfu and enjoy lunch on board. Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. Sail onward to Luxor. Dinner: On board. Overnight: Luxor (on cruise). (BLD)

Day 6 - Nile Cruise – Luxor Temples

After breakfast, explore the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Lunch on board. Optional Balloon ride over the West Bank at additional charge. Dinner on board. Overnight: Luxor (on cruise). (BLD)

Day 7 - Nile Cruise / Luxor / Return to Cairo

After breakfast and checkout, visit the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch at a local restaurant (included). Fly back to Cairo and check in at InterContinental CityStars Hotel. Located near Cairo Airport and connected to CityStars Mall, it’s the perfect spot for last-minute shopping and souvenirs. Day 8 - Depart Cairo
