5 Days: Istanbul & Cappadocia

This captivating journey through Turkey begins in Istanbul, where you’ll explore iconic landmarks such as Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Grand Bazaar. Continue to Ankara to visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk before traveling to Cappadocia, famed for its surreal landscapes and rock formations. Discover the region’s underground cities, open-air museums, and traditional crafts, with an optional hot-air balloon ride offering breathtaking views. The itinerary blends cultural discovery, historical insight, and natural beauty, providing a memorable experience across Turkey’s most celebrated destinations.

Day 1 - Istanbul

Upon your arrival, you will be met by our representative before transfer to your Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 2 - Istanbul Full Day

After breakfast at the hotel, a guided tour to Topkapi Palace, St. Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar will commence. The day ends with an overnight stay in Istanbul. (B)

Day 3 - Istanbul- Ankara - Cappadocia

After breakfast, we depart for Ankara where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its Museum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We then depart for Cappadocia. We will arrive in Cappadocia for an overnight stay. (BD)

Day 4 - Cappadocia Full Day

Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available. Then, full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the underground city, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Lunch in a local restaurant. Here, we will have the opportunity to discover and understand the rich history behind local handicrafts like hand-made carpets, Turkish tiles, onyx and potteries. Optional night tour with a Turkish show and dinner is avaliable tonight. Overnight stay in Cappadocia. (BL)

Day 5 - Cappadocia Return Transfer to Kayseri

Transfer to Kayseri Airport (flight is subject to surcharge) (B).
