4 Days: Cali

Tour overview:

Cali is in southwest Colombia on the Pacific coast side. The third largest city in Colombia is the Salsa capital of the world. After exploring the city, learn the rhythm of the city with a personal lesson at the best salsa school in Cali. Next day, travel outside to the city and take in the beauty of the landscape and maybe try some water sports at Lake Calima.

Day 1 - Arrive Cali

Arrive in Cali, Colombia. Welcome at the Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Cali City Tour

Private services with English-speaking tour guide. During this tour visit the most representative places of the city, starting from downtown, where you will find the Plaza de Caicedo, Metropolitan Cathedral of San Peter Apostol, Church of San Francisco and Church of La Merced, continuing to the colonial neighborhood of San Antonio, Sebastián de Belalcázar viewpoint, Monument to Gato del Río and Cristo Rey. Towards the south, there are the sports units, the Bullring, residential and university areas, the tour ends in the north, passing through Sixth Avenue, Granada neighborhood, among others.

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel to take you to one of the best salsa schools of the city, where you will have the opportunity to learn at the hand of experts, an unmatched experience of personalized classes and start out in this characteristic rhythm of Cali. (B)

Day 3 - Tour to Buga & Calima Lake

Private full day tour with an English-speaking tour guide. During this tour, visit the Centennial Basilica of the Lord of the Miracles in Buga known as the “Lady City”, thanks to its architectural beauty preserved from the 18th and 19th centuries, declared a National Monument. Continue with a visit to Lake Calima, an artificial reservoir built in 1965. Over the years Calima has become a major attraction, especially for those who enjoy kite and windsurfing. This is the perfect place to practice water sports and enjoy the beauty of the landscape. (BL)
